Using your qualifications

Finding out the national level of your qualifications

National qualifications and their levels are given on the Lifepilot Qualification Planner. If you cannot see your qualifications on the Planner, you may be able to find them through Ofqual's Register of Regulated Qualifications.

Not all qualifications will be on the Ofqual Register, for example, if they were achieved a long time ago. If this is the case, you may be able to find out the level through the awarding body (i.e. the organisation that certificated the qualification; sometimes known as an exam board). Examples of major awarding bodies include:

The awarding bodies' websites will provide information on the qualifications they offer. The websites may also have lists of qualifications they no longer offer, but this is unlikely to be exhaustive. If you can't find your qualification listed and you know that you have the right awarding body, then contact them and ask how your past qualifications transfer to the national levels. The more information you can provide, such as the exact title of the qualification, the date you achieved it etc, the better.

International Qualifications

If you want to compare qualifications gained outside the UK with the UK qualifications framework you can do so on the ENIC website.
