Everyone is different

There is no one way to revise that works for everyone. It all depends on how you learn best. You need to find the revision methods that work for you.
Seeing, moving and hearing
There are three major ways people learn, visual (seeing stuff), kinaesthetic (doing stuff and auditory (hearing stuff). Although people do usually have a preference it is useful when revising to try and combine different ways of revising.

• Write notes as you go through your revision.
• Write information on post-it notes and stick it to a wall on the far side of the room where you can’t see them. Then try to remember what the information on each post-it was.
• Put your notes into a diagram form, for example a mind map or spider gram.
• Write your notes on postcards and then spread them out over your desk. Turn them over and try to remember what was on each postcard.

Remember, the easiest way to fix the information in your brain is to write it down.
