Local Agreements in WVLLN area - explained
The following Higher Education Institutions within the Western Vocational Lifelong Learning Network have been working together to help mature students gain access to higher education by agreeing that certain level 3 qualifications, such as BTEC National Diplomas, Access to HE, National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Advanced Apprenticeships, may be used to gain admission onto specific Higher Education courses at Universities and Colleges within the WVLLN region:
- University of Bath
- Bath Spa University
- University of Bristol
- University of Gloucestershire
- Open University South West
- Royal Agricultural College
- University of the West of England
You can find out whether your qualification is recognised through a local progression agreement (more are being set up all the time).
If your qualification is NOT covered through a local agreement then contact the university or college and ask for their advice.
